Euro – Dollar June 2008  

 

In my May 12 article, I mentioned the days to watch for a turn in the trend of the E-D.

 

The 20th and 29th of May were very volatile. What happened on those days?

 

 

 

Let’s look at the graphs: we see a BIG M structure. What happened was, that on the 20th, Mercury was farthest from the Sun, then it’s move turned slower and slower, till it stationed, and turned RETRO, now is approaching, applying to the Sun. It will conjunct the Sun on June 7, which will mark again a change in trend. The Euro went up significantly (20-27 May) only to return to the exact place where it was on the 20th. We should always watch the phazes of the planets and their position to the Sun.

 

 

 

The 8 May marked a low, and after that, with the Mars Leo ingress energy, the Euro reached 158.10 to the dollar. There it was stopped by the transiting Mercury angle to Natal Mercury, as we can see in the map below.

 

 

 

Looking at the transit chart of the Euro for the 20th, we see that transiting Mercury made 150* to Natal Mercury. (Line in green) (Ruler of ascendant of the first trade chart) The transiting Nodes were at exact conjunction, (Blue line)

 

 

 

The next stop was on the 27th, technically, a double top, with higher highs. On this day, transiting Mercury turned Retro, a sigh for change in trend, and opposed Natal Mercury. On the 27th the Moon was V.O.C. a period one should not trade….

 

On the 27th the Euro fall from 158.18 to 154.65 and reached a bottom on the 30 May, when transiting Sun made an exact opposion to natal Pluto.
